Modules 1 and 2:
class=P-C
We offer theory training in preparation for test, you will have the opportunity to sit mock theory tests on computer as you would at the test centre. The aim of the day is to give you a much better understanding about the tests that lay ahead, the weak areas you need to revise and how the rest of your course will run. You may also borrow books and cd ROMs for revision, we do ask for a deposit, (fully refundable once returned).
class=P-E
We would recommend a 5 day course, broken down into 4 days practical driving tuition, 4 hours per day. On day 5 you would have 1 ½ hours practice before your test, and the test takes between 1 hour 10 mins to 1 ½ hours.
At the end of the first day’s tuition we would give you an honest professional opinion on whether you have a good chance of reaching test standard in this time. So the onus is on you, we can reduce or increase the hours as necessary.
class=P-E
* If you are driving for professionally, for hire or reward you will need to complete all 4 Modules. If you are driving privately or for LGV only if you passed your car test before Jan 1997 you will need to complete Modules 1 and 3 only. All trailer tests will need to complete Module 3 only. *
class=P-E
Practical demonstration test would consist of 4 hours training and test, you will be taught how to check your vehicle over to ensure its roadworthiness, tachograph training and for Lorry drivers you may have to demonstrate how to strap down and secure loads using the correct restraining equipment for the type of load you may be carrying.
